Full Event
vs ‘Core Days’
vs Camping Days

Full event is from the 29th July through to the 10th August and includes all camping days and core days.

The ‘Core Days’ are in the middle of the event (2 - 7th Aug) and are made up of Arrival day, 2 workshops days, 1 community day and 2 workshop days for a total of 6 days of which 4 are workshops days with approx 60-80 workshops to pick from.

Camping days are before and after the Core Days and contain very few workshops or other organised activities. They are 29th July-2nd Aug & 8-10th Aug and are great for relaxing, exploring, practicing skills and socialising with great people.

COVID & Social distancing

There are no current limitations regarding COVID

Keep up to date on the regulations in England HERE

Workshops

Workshops are skill sharing activities run by a mix of enthusiastic individuals and outdoor professionals. The next days workshops are written up on the board the evening before.

Workshops will run on Aug 3 & 4th and 6 & 7th August. Monday 5th is a communal day that’s more relaxed, with some activities and an evening communal meal and a band.
We run 60-80 workshops over those days. There’s also an opportunity to request workshops and we’ll do our best to accommodate you and help you learn the skills you want to.

Fires & Firewood

Firewood will be provided for main fires and activities, you can purchase firewood by arrangement, please email info@BushMoot.com to order.

£35 per quarter builders bag (2 wheelbarrows), ¼, ½, ¾, and whole bag amounts available, please contact us info@BushMoot.com

Please take note that foraging for firewood is not allowed. The site is SSSI protected.

All camp fires should be in fire pits/fire trays and raised off the ground. No fires on the ground are allowed

There are a few established communal fires where a ground fire is allowed.

Parking & Camper Vans

There is a main parking area where cars will need to be left, we cannot accommodate cars next to pitches.

We have very limited parking for camper vans so please contact us before booking to make sure we can accommodate you.

Bring & Buy

We have a great ‘Bring and Buy’ are where you can sell your unwanted kit, so please bring any outdoor kit and equipment that you want to sell.

The way it works is simple - you bring your kit, put a name and price on it (we’ll provide the labels if needed) and put it in the bring and buy, if it’s sold the sale is recorded by reception staff and then you collect your money minus a 10% fee.
