The point of the MindMoot is to enjoy yourself by slowing down and taking some time to focus on you. We combine some basic bushcraft skills with mindfulness and other skills, learn from each other, and hopefully you get to take away a few valuable tools that are helpful in your daily life.

To make this happen, we need you to be open-minded and happy to get stuck into some practical activities and some self-analysis / mindful activities, all mixed together! Then we'll talk about what we’ve done, what works and what doesn't, put forward ideas, etc. You don’t need to know any bushcraft or mindfulness skills to attend.

The general format is to arrive Friday evening from 6 p.m., get set up and settled in, run over the agenda and expectations, and then spend some time together getting to know each other.
Saturday is a mixture of sessions, mindfulness, mindful practicals, discussions, dinner, time by the fire, and relaxing.
Sunday morning is our time to review, share thoughts, practice some skills, and pack up, ready to leave at 1 p.m.

This is a mostly self-catering* event for both food and camping gear.

*The evening meal on Saturday and tea and coffee throughout the event will be provided. We will email you more information and request information from you regarding dietary considerations.

*Evening meal - we ‘as a group’ will be making the evening meal.
