“I had a wonderful time at the BushMoot. Like everything in life the more effort you put in the more you get out.” - Suki D

MakerMoot
MakerMoot is a friendly woodland gathering for anyone who enjoys making, creating, camping, or simply relaxing around a fire with good company.
MakerMoot coincides with two excellent craft and history markets nearby The Original Re-enactors Market (TORM) and Artisan & Reenactors Market (ARM) both just a short drive away. Stock up on tools and supplies, then head back to camp to put them to use.
Whether you're into leatherwork, sewing, carving, knitting, blacksmithing, bushcraft, or brewing up wild ideas — bring your own projects and tools, and spend the weekend making, tinkering, or just taking it easy.
We’ll have a large, warm indoor workshop space for crafts and creative work, as well as a covered outdoor area for fresh-air making. There’ll be power for sewing machines or small tools, tables to work on, and a relaxed, collaborative atmosphere.
And when the tools go down, the evening fire becomes the heart of camp — a space to unwind, chat, share skills, and soak up the glow of a creative weekend.

WinterMoot
This is our Festival of Outdoor Cookery. It’s cram-packed with cooking and related activities and workshops, covering a variety of preparation and cooking skills, from butchering to pancakes and roasts to sponge cakes, tracking, hunting, safety, and fire management and more.
“It was great just to be in the woods and to be able to relax and do as much or as little as I wanted.” - Paul P

MindMoot
Unplug from the world. Reconnect with what’s important to you. Join us at MindMoot 2026.
After our last great MindMoot we are eager to do another one, and invite you to join us for a weekend where you’ll walk away feeling more centred, resilient, and connected – not just to nature, or a group of like-minded people but with yourself. We hope you'll leave with practical tools for managing stress and a reclaimed sense of calm and confidence.

BushMoot
The original summertime Moot that started it all!
BushMoot ‘Core’ runs for six days at the start of the summer holidays, the ‘Extended’ BushMoot runs for nearly two weeks, with options to visit for a day or immerse yourself in the whole event. The BushMoot includes workshops for beginners and experts of all ages, with a real focus on enjoying the great outdoors as a community of individuals and families.
“Great Moot, good site, good facilities, great organisation, great people, good workshops/activities and the most generous bunch of genuinely nice people I have met!
Keep up the good work!” - John F
