Theresa has been tanning skins using traditional technologies for over twenty years. Coming originally from the state of Wyoming in the United States, she was lucky enough to grow up as part of a family of outdoor enthusiasts.
SHELLY BRISTOW
Shelly loves the outdoors and keeping busy. At the Summer Moot, you can find her sorting everyone out and making sure things run smoothly. She also handles the memberships and sales stuff.
TONY BRISTOW
Tony started Bushcraft UK forums in 2003, then a year after the BushMoot, so there was a place where people could get together and share the skills and knowledge that we all enjoy.
His favourite times outdoors are under a tarp with the rain coming down while he’s making something.

You’ll find Dave Budd at the Moots making high quality knives, tools and freely sharing his knowledge withe everyone. When he’s not there he’ll be at his home forge in his ten acre woodland in the heart of Devon, making knives and teaching students, or on the road at shows and events around the country.

I have a keen interest in making my own gear, anything from wood burning stoves, to clothing so when I’m not spending time with my family, or being a scout leader, I enjoy planning my next project.

Too many hobbies, not enough time but loving every minute! For me Bushcraft is a way of increasing your appreciation of the outdoors and making your time there more comfortable and enjoyable, it fits into all activities from simple over nighters to cycling and trekking.

In 2004 I found a new title for my hobby, I came across BushcraftUK, with its wealth of knowledge and helpful advice. I joined the Bushcraft UK forum, hoping to learn all that I could, building on my experience of Scouts and the armed forces that had given me an understanding of many of the topics being discussed.

George is a part time outdoor pursuits instructor specialising in Bushcraft and Hill and Mountain skills. He spends a lot of his time as a Sea Cadet instructor and he’s involved with Bushcraft UK. He spends a huge amount of time helping lots of his friends teach bushcraft.

Fraser runs the Coastal Survival School and Bushcraft Survival courses to help you experience, practice and understand Bushcraft Survival skills and resources in a coastal location. Coastal survival school use many different and diverse coastal locations.
