Having spent many years climbing and mountaineering in the UK and Europe, Wayne then travelled widely learning new skills and experiencing new environments from the high Arctic to Japan.

In 2004 I found a new title for my hobby, I came across BushcraftUK, with its wealth of knowledge and helpful advice. I joined the Bushcraft UK forum, hoping to learn all that I could, building on my experience of Scouts and the armed forces that had given me an understanding of many of the topics being discussed.

George is a part time outdoor pursuits instructor specialising in Bushcraft and Hill and Mountain skills. He spends a lot of his time as a Sea Cadet instructor and he’s involved with Bushcraft UK. He spends a huge amount of time helping lots of his friends teach bushcraft.
